The BAFL are delighted to welcome four new teams for the 2009 season! Returning to the league after an absence of one year are the nine times national champions – London Olympians.

The Olympians re-envigoured by a successful Associate year will be back at Crystal Palace in 2009. Commenting on this last year, Marlene Price, General Manager said, “It has been a difficult year for the Olympians. We have had to overcome many challenges”. Marlene added, “We look forward, with anticipation, to competition in 2009”.

In addition to the Olympians, the BAFL welcomes two new teams from Scotland – Highland Wildcats and Clyde Valley Blackhawks – both of whom are an evolution of successful youth programmess that have been running in recent years – and Gloucester Banshees.
